Just curious...if anybody has found evidence whether animals in the natural environs of magic mushrooms get high.

I've read a few stories.(one in a local paper last year) of family dogs being strangely effect by mushrooms the dogs had consumed while on walks with the owners

I also want to note that "Psilocybin Magic Mushrooms" are very rare and almost impossible to find in the Natural Environment. They are almost completely reliant on man to provided there habitat.....eg Farmer Fields, Lawns, and flower beds.

Yes, they are known to affect animals- one example being the Lapps using Fly Agarics to gather their herds of Reindeer.
