hey i came across this one specie that was growing in flushes in a lawn/woodsy area. the flushes have anywhere from 5 to 20 caps. the caps are a brownish tan with shlightyl darker brown rings around the top. the gill color is similar to the cap color....havent had time to make a spore print. if anyone can give me an idea let me kno.

the gills are attached. they arent nearly as distinct as like the chanterelles. the gills are actually lighter than the caps. they are a yellowish brown. im takin a print now.

no no milk at all. they have the little nipples on top of the caps, the only thing that im skeptical about is the white spore print. theyre bruising to what seems to be like a grayish blue. they were growin in huge flushes and only huge flushes. any ideas?

They sound like Marasmius oreades, a very common lawn mushroom. If you bend the stems, do they break easily, or are they tough and very flexible?
