Thanks for the ID psynaut, I was lost on that one.

that's one of the strangest looking mushrooms i've ever seen.

Well it was the first time I had seen C. Ruber so I took many piccies of it to add to my growing fungi photo library. Yes it is strange looking, but also its interesting looking.
