We are thinking of cultivating mushrooms in a shed in a small farm which already contains lots of coconut trees and other plants. I just want to know if this mushroom cultivation will harm those other plants in any way.

My first thought is that the plants should do fine. Depending on what variety of mushrooms you plan to grow, there will be a certain temperature & humidity range you would have to maintain to fruit the mushrooms. If your plants can survive in the same conditions everything should work out well. The only concern is that the high humidity mushrooms need may pose mold problems on the greenhouse side of the shed.
