I've unpacked the lab and cleaned it up.
The foraging season is over, let the growing begin!
Tonight I'll be making a new batch of PDA potato dextrose agar and I'll be breaking the cultures out of cool storage!
I know my enokie is viable(it keeps trying to get out of it's dish)
I'll see what else is good,see what needs replacing and get cultivating!
I'll translate the PDA recipie I use into cooking measurements tsp Tbsp cup ect....I know what a pain it is to get your hands on a good scale.

Let us now how things come along. I'm thinking about dusting out my grow room too...if work ever slows down

Peter I too am in the process of starting my grow .Everything I own is in storage ,except my books and my steam boiler .I plan to build a hood in the very near future I am still trying to find the cheapest hepa filter.I have pecked around for a long time with the myco thingy ,this time I am going to take the step.I recently puchased an autoclave ,which would be a big step up from my 21qt pressure cooker.The problem is I have no where to set my autoclave up.lol I have some prospects but for now all lab glass stays is storage and my autoclave that cost so much it hurt .But when the place shows I am ready to go.Good luck.
