All long as the temperatures stay above freezing over here then I shall be foraying.... It was strange finding Parasols and Christmas Eve last year!!
I see you've 'seeded' your lawn with shaggy ink caps tell us how you get on.

Nice score, thanks for sharing the pics.
Think I have another good month of hunting over here on the west coast of Canada Hopefully the frost comes late this year.

Well the weather looked iffy over the last few days with the temperature dropping, but luckily not dipping below freezing! So hopefully my foray on Saturday will be good!

I'm not even totally sure when the mushroom season officially ends in my state. Normally i stop hunting in october or november. But just cause I have less finds. I remember a couple times finding a few species like in jan, one of them being coprinus. Good luck on saturday Mark. I will be out also and i'll see what kind of things I can come up with.

Well I went out for my foray and it turned out to be quite good with at least 105 species collected. If anyone wants to know what was found(not much interest to the edible pickers) then post a reply.
