Well this summer was a bit unusual as for weather here on vancouver island . This fall is proving to be a bit of a let down as far as mushrooms go .. I was out in the cowichan lake area port renfrew and not to many chantrells. On our way we met up with a few other mushroom hunters and they did not have much either ,has anyone else found this ? My fav liberty cap locals are also not producing well due to lack of a good down pour . Just wondering if anyone else on the island is having same prob or should I head upisland a bit to were its damper? Any sugestions? Thanks a million in advance.
