Results were mixed here in Northern Utah this fall, but the early heavy snows bode well for the coming spring.

Hey Psynaut, thanks for the contest. Count me in, I could use this reference in my library.

It is -11C here today and my dang water froze. But I got to use the outhouse and noticed a frozen Clitocybe lightly dusted in snow under the eaves of the outhouse. Gave me something to ponder as I lack any current reading material out there these days...

Last wild mushrooms I picked were Blewitts, also curiously growing near the outhouse. The last ones I picked were in early November, and they had just frozen. Still cooked up nice though. Those and the yellowfeet usually spell the end of our season around here.
